We Introduced Our AI-Powered Library Assistants at the 3rd Library and Technology Festival.

As Yordam Bilişim Teknoloji A.Ş., we took our place at the 3rd International Library and Technology Festival, held at the historical Istanbul Rami Library between April 2-4, 2026, with the main theme "The Healing Library". While bringing our current software solutions together with library professionals during the event, we presented our newly developed AI-supported smart library robots, "Timo" and "Yora", to the participants for the first time this year.

Bringing an innovative dimension to the library ecosystem, our smart assistants established one-on-one communication with visitors throughout the festival and attracted great attention, especially from children and the library community. Providing an interactive service to visitors, Timo and Yora drew attention with their abilities to provide detailed reviews of the books in the library, show the instant shelf locations of the works, query whether they are currently on loan, and instantly transfer all bibliographic details related to the work, including author biographies.

We would like to thank all our visitors for their intense interest in our technologies that automate information access processes and enrich the library user experience. We will continue to develop our innovation-oriented works and artificial intelligence integrations in the field of librarianship.
